1. If you're traveling anywhere that requires malaria pills and care how much you pay for them, get yourself off to your Doctor, ask for a private prescription and shop around at various chemists. They all charge differently per pill. Superdrug was the cheapest for me, Boots the most expensive
2. A box of Tic Tacs goes a long long way
3. Never ever get between a hippo and water
4. An outstanding friend of mine once told me to always look behind when I get up, this has saved my wallet on this trip and I would like to pass this advice on to others
